My father has been retired for 7 + years and he doesn’t get out much.
He gets excited over strange “government” emails from Africa, Europe and Asia stating he was won or are qualified for 1,000,000,000,000 dollars. And they will send a part of it over to him.
The sad part is he thinks it’s real and he gets happy and smiles about it. I’m afraid that if nobody tells him it’s a scam – he will actually fork over his info.
Why are old people more likely to believe these types of scams ?
