I found a website where the person who made the site is actually from my city. Would it be out of character if I called to ask him about the money?
I got his number from whitepages.com.

Most of em are just scams.
They will ask you for deposit, and run away with the money.
take a guess…..
probably a scam, go to the better business bureau website and read up on the warning signs for work at home online scams. if you have to pay a fee and they promise you big money then you know it’s a scam.
i have never seen a legitimate one on-line.
legimate jobs such as this do exist but you won’t find them here.
